Kirkbrae Country Club will be hosting local qualifying for the 2022 U.S. Open. 

Kirkbrae will host local qualifying on May 10, with the leaders advancing to final qualifying later that month. 

The 2022 U.S. Open is set for June 13019 at Brookline Country Club in Massachusetts. 

In 2021, Ledgemont hosted local qualifying. 

Out of 84 spots, five players advanced to the final qualifying. 

Kirkbrae Undergoing Renovations

This offseason, Kirkbrae is nearly done with renovations to it’s 16th hole and fourth tee. 

As GolfNewsRI reported, the new look 16th hole will still have the big tree in the middle, but fairway will run on both sides of it so that players have an option. 

There has also been water added to the hole to make the decision even harder for players.
