The West Division is home to the four-time defending State Champion La Salle Academy and the defending Girls State Champion in Adriana Eaton.

The South Division was one of two divisions to get four teams into the State Championship last year. 

The University of Rhode Island golf team finished in fifth place at the Wildcat Spring Invitational this week at Galloway National Golf Club in New Jersey. 

Former La Salle star Olivia Williams earned a top ten finish this week at the St. John’s Invitational in New York. 

The Bryant women’s golf team finished in solo fourth place at the St. John’s Invitational this week at St. Andrew’s Golf Club in New York. 

Barrington has remained in control of the East Division over the last few years, and have been the only team to make State Championship out of that division. 

Since GolfNewsRI started covering high school golf in 2021, the Central Division has always been one of the most interesting divisions in the state. 

Former La Salle star Olivia Williams aced the third hole at Saint Andrews Golf Club in New York during the first round of the St. John’s Invitational. 

Day one of the 2026 high school golf season got underway for a few teams across the state on Monday. 

The St. John’s Women’s Invitational, which is just underway up in New York, has quite the Rhode Island flavor to it.
