Davis Chatfield jumped 25 spots up the leaderboard during Saturday’s third round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Indiana.

Chatfield carded a bogey-free four-under 68 on Saturday and sits in a tie for 20th going into Sunday’s final round.

The former Rhode Island Amateur Champ already has his PGA Tour Card locked up for 2026, so Sunday’s final round will be relatively stress free.

Chatfield is one-under for the tournament, nine shots back of leader Barend Botha.

He tees off at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday alongside Tyler Duncan and two-time Northeast Amateur Champion Dylan Menante.

Patrick Welch Update

Welch has carded rounds of 80, 78 and 73 so far this week and sits in solo 71st.

The Classical grad has already secured full Korn Ferry Tour status for 2026.

Welch is projected to slip from 36th on the points list to 39th as of Sunday morning.

Assuming he stays inside the top 50 on the points list, he will have an opportunity to skip to the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School and try to earn a card that way.
