GolfNewsRI Partners with Amateur Golf Tour of New England

GolfNewsRI is excited to announce a partnership with the Amateur Golf Tour of New England (AGTNE) for the 2025 golf season.

The Amateur Golf Tour of New England was founded in 1992 as the Boston Amateur Golf Society, Rhode Island Division before changing over to the AGTNE in 2019.

“GolfNewsRI is looking forward to working with the Amateur Golf Tour of New England to help bring more attention to their tournaments and the players in them. Thanks to Paul Dumont and Wendy Brown for their belief in and support of GNRI. It is going to be a great 2025 season,” said GolfNewsRI co-founder/CEO Joe Calabro.

During the 2025 AGTNE season, GNRI will provide coverage of the Rhode Island-based events, the four majors and any other event that a Rhode Islander wins.

“AGTNE is excited to partner with GolfNewsRI to promote and report on our service of organizing tournament golf for golfers of all abilities. We play on a variety of courses, many of which are in and around RI,” said Director Paul Dumont.

Over the next week or so, GolfNewsRI will publish a season preview article and the Rhode Island event schedule for those interested in signing up or joining the AGTNE.

Amateur Golf Tour of New England’s season begins in early April at Meadow Brook Golf Course.
