Iaciofano Snags Top 15 Finish at Minor League Golf Tour Event
Rhode Island’s Joey Iaciofano snagged a top 15 finish this week at the Minor League Golf Tour event at Indian Spring – East Course in Florida.
Playing as an amateur in his second pro event, Iaciofano finished the two-day tournament at four-under par and in a tie for 15th.
He was one-under after the first round and carded a three-under 69 Thursday’s final round.

Iaciofano finished tied with Jake Lane and Nicholas Infanti.
At the time of this publishing, players are still on the course and it looks like there will be a playoff at 12-under par to decide the winner.
Iaciofano’s Final Round
The Oxbridge Academy star started the day at one-under par for the tournament.
To open the final round, he made birdie on the par-5 first hole, and then dropped another birdie on the sixth hole.
He would turn at two-under with a bogey-free front nine.
On the back side, Iaciofano made his first bogey of the day on the 12th hole, but bounced back with birdies on the 13th and 14th holes to get to three-under for the round.
Following a par on 15, Iaciofano made another birdie on the 16th hole to move inside the top ten temporarily.
He made bogey on the 17th to drop back a shot before closing with a par on 18 to fire a 69.
