Former La Salle star Max Jackson wrapped up the first collegiate tournament of his career on Tuesday down in Puerto Rico at the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate. 

Jackson finished in a tie for 38th overall with a three-round score of four-over par. 

He carded back-to-back rounds of 74 (2-over) and a final round 72 (even par) for the tournament. 

On his own team, Jackson was third best performer behind Weston Jones and Noah Kumar. 

The two-time RI High School State Champ beat the other four players on the roster. 

As GNRI previously noted, Jackson played the tournament as an individual, meaning his score did not count toward the team.

As a team, Rutgers finished in tenth place out of 14 squads with a score of nine-over par. 

Arkansas won the tournament at 21-under par, led by John Daly II.
