Paul Azinger to Return to Broadcast Booth in 2025
Paul Azinger will be returning to the broadcast booth in 2025.
Azinger will serve as the lead analyst for 10-12 PGA Tour Champions events next season replacing Lanny Wadkins, who retired.
“It’s not like a full-time gig or anything, which I don’t want, but to be able to go in there and part-time some golf, some really great golf, it’ll be kind of fun. I’ll just be as candid as I can and enjoy it,” Azinger told Golfweek, who was first to report the news.
As GolfNewsRI reported in 2023, NBC Sports let go of Azinger prior to the 2024 season.
The 2025 PGA Tour Champions season will include a total of 28 events.
The events that Azinger does not do will be done by John Cook and Peter Jacobsen.
