The Rhode Island Junior Amateur will return to Pawtucket Country Club in 2025, RIGA’s Bob Ward announced on Friday during the trophy ceremony.

RIGA followed up with a press release shortly after.

“We enjoy hosting RIGA events. It’s a little extra work, but it always pays off in the end. People seem to enjoying playing the place, so we like for the outsiders to get a look at it. Not a lot of people know it and it’s kind of undiscovered to some extent, so it’s always fun to have the RIGA come in here. We like it,” said course superintendent Michael Whitehead in the RIGA release.

Pawtucket just finished hosting the 2024 Junior Amateur this past week.

Jesse Hellring won the boys division and Lily Dessel took home the trophy in the girls division.

No dates have been announced for the 2025 tournament.
