Chris Francoeur Makes PGA Tour Canada Debut Thursday
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur makes his PGA Tour Canada debut on Thursday at the Royal Beach Victoria Open in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Francoeur earned his PGA Tour Canada card this past April.
The former Rhody Ram finished eight under for the tournament, five shots behind medalist Jason Hong.
He is exempt into all events on PGA Tour Canada until the reshuffle, which takes place about half way through the season.
On Thursday, Francoeur tees off at 4:20 p.m. eastern time with Brian Richey and Connor Howe.
Prior to latching on to PGA Tour Canada, Francoeur went through Korn Ferry Tour Q-School and then played multiple mini-tour events.
