Chris Francoeur Earns PGA Tour Canada Card
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur has earned his PGA Tour Canada card.
Francoeur finished fifth at PGA Tour Canada Q-School on Friday at Wigwam Golf Club this week.
The former Rhody Ram finished eight under for the tournament, five shots behind medalist Jason Hong.
Francoeur is exempt into all events on PGA Tour Canada until the reshuffle, which takes place about half way through the season.
PGA Tour Canada’s first tournament takes place in mid-June with the Royal Beach Victoria Open.
Francoeur says he is not moving to Canada, but will just be traveling to the tournaments from Massachusetts.
