Wannamoisett’s 3rd Hole Featured During Golf Channel’s PGA Championship Coverage
Wannamoisett’s famous third hole was back in the spotlight on Wednesday during the afternoon airing of Live From the PGA Championship on Golf Channel.
The hole was being highlighted by Rhode Island’s Brad Faxon due to both Wannamoisett and Oak Hill being recently renovated by Andrew Green.
GolfNewsRI did a deep dive on Green’s renovation of Wannamoisett two years ago.
Green renovated a big par-3 at Oak Hill in similar fashion.

It was brought to GolfNewsRI’s attention that Faxon also mentioned the 17th hole at Rhode Island Country Club, prior to switching to Wannamoisett.
