URI Golf Begins Spring Season in Myrtle Beach

The University of Rhode Island Golf team begins their spring season on Monday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Bash at the Beach.
As GolfNewsRI reported, the Rams were picked to finish fifth in the A-10 Preseason Poll late last month.

Rhode Island will be led by star seniors Brandon Gillis and Bryson Richards, as well as, Andrew DiPetrillo.
Rhody is also expecting big things out of junior Geronimo Narizzano, redshirt freshman Chuck Tragresser and freshman Aidan O’Donovan.

In last year’s tournament, Rhode Island finished tenth overall and were led by Bryson Richards, who finished in third place.
Along with URI, other teams in the field include Bucknell, UConn, Dayton, Delaware, Holy Cross, Maryland Eastern Shore, Navy, North Carolina A&T, Oral Roberts, Presbyterian, Queens University of Charlotte, Rider, Utah Valley, UNC Wilmington and host Appalachian State.
The shotgun start begins at 9:15 a.m. on Monday.
