Alexis Florio Shoots 64, Finishes 3rd at Evie Odom Invitational
There may not be too many Rhode Islanders playing better golf than Alexis Florio right now.
Florio fired a bogey-free third round 64 to finish in solo third at the Evie Odom Invitational on Sunday at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach.
The 64 is the lowest round in school history and the lowest 54-hole score in school history.

The Cranston native finished five-under for the tournament.
Meanwhile, Florio’s Indiana Hoosiers finished in 10th with a team score of 30-over par.

Starting on the 11th hole, Florio birdied the 12th hole and then dropped birdies on 16 and 18 to turn at three-under.
On the front side, Florio birdied the third hole and closed with birdies on eight and nine after a string of pars.
She parred her final hole, the tenth hole, to shoot 64.
