EXCLUSIVE: Andrade “Proud” to be Part of CVS Charity Classic Run

In exclusive comments to GolfNewsRI, Billy Andrade said that he was “proud” to be part of the CVS Charity Classic run.
As GolfNewsRI reported, CVS announced on Friday that the tournament is no more.
“I am so proud to be a part of history hosting the CVS Health Charity Classic. 23 Years was an amazing run. Big thanks to my partner and friend, Brad Faxon, for hosting with me,” Andrade said.

Andrade is currently playing in the Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shorts in Michigan.
He is currently two-over and tied for 59th.
CVS Classic Comes to End
Since its inception in 1999, the CVS Health Charity Classic has raised more than $25 million.
Due to Covid, the last tournament was played in 2019, and the event went virtual in 2020.
The last winners of the CVS Classic was the team of Keegan Bradley, Brooke Henderson and Billy Andrade.
The first ever winners was the team of Justin Leonard and Davis Love III.
Over the years, the tournament has featured players like Arnold Palmer, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Annika Sorenstam, Morgan Pressel, Natalie Gulbis and more.
