VIDEO: Wanumetonomy Under Construction
Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club is under construction, the club showed in a video posted to their social media pages.
According to the description on the video, the club is redoing the patio, 10th tee boxes, cart paths and the cart barn area.
As GolfNewsRI reported back in September, Wanumetonomy had been exploring the idea of massive renovations to its golf course.
“The club is in the planning phases of a new master plan. The architect the club hired to develop the master plan was Tyler Rae,” Wanumetonomy head pro Bill Maguire told GolfNewsRI at the time.
It is unclear if this project is part of those renovations or a separate project all together.
Wanumetonomy is hosting the Rhode Island Amateur in July.
