High school student Anna Davis won the third annual Augusta National Women’s Amateur on Saturday afternoon at famed Augusta National.
Davis posted a three-round score of 1-under to win by one shot over Ingrid Lindblad and Latanna Stone.
However, it was Stone who appeared to have the tournament wrapped up, especially after a birdie on the par-3 16th hole.
She then doubled 17 and bogeyed 18 to lose the tournament and give Davis the win.
For Davis’ part, she posted a 69 in the final round, including playing the back nine at two-under par with birdies on 12 and 13.
Davis also had a clutch par save on 17 and again on 18.
