Wannamoisett Renovator Andrew Green Tapped for East Lake Job
Andrew Green, the golf course architect responsible for the massive renovation of Wannamoisett Country Club is on to his next project.
The renovation of famed East Lake Golf Club.
“We are excited to announce the retention of Andrew Green of A.H. Green Design to develop a master plan for the renovation of the golf course and practice facilities. Work is set to begin in 2023 after the TOUR Championship,” writes East Lake.
Green worked on Wannamoisett from September to around Christmas time, fixing the bunkers and reverting the greens back to the original Donald Ross designs.

Most recently, the renovation of Wannamoisett was named one of 2022’s most notable.

Green was recognized by Golf Digest in November of 2018 as the number three Renovation Expert currently working.
He completed the restoration of Inverness Club in Ohio back in 2018.
Inverness is currently hosting the Solheim Cup this weekend.
Along with Wannamoisett, Green is also renovating Congressional Country Club’s Blue Course in preparation for 10 different PGA of America Championships.
Green also is working on Scioto Country Club in Ohio.
