GoFundMe Started for Kings Crossing Member Gerry Habershaw

A GoFundMe page has been launched for Kings Crossing member Gerry Habershaw who passed away on on Saturday.
As GolfNewsRI was among the first to report the principal of Pilgrim High School died of a heart attack at approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday morning.
“The passing of Gerald (Gerry) Habershaw is a major loss to his family, friends, students and community.
Some family is blood related whereas other family is chosen. Gerry Habershaw was this kind of family member. Anyone that knew Gerry was personally moved and impacted in a great way. He was the light in every room he walked into and also the craziest, and funniest. Because we knew Gerry, our lives will forever be changed and our holiday get togethers will never be the same. Gerry is leaving behind his beautiful wife Beth, his two daughters Zoe and Tessa and his sons Jared and Christian. Please find it in your heart to donate what you can. It won’t bring back our beloved Gerry but it’ll help with other hardships life has to offer,” writes Molly Burke on the GoFundMe Page.

All proceeds will be going directly to his wife, Beth Habershaw.
As of Sunday night, over $4,000 have been raised for the family.
At the time of his passing, Habershaw was under fire for not wearing a face mask during a homecoming dance at Pilgrim High School.
Habershaw was a long time Kings Crossing member and could be seen at most of the club’s events and tournaments.
On the sixth tee at Kings Crossing, there is a sign posted on the fence that reads “Lake Habershaw.”
