Brad Faxon Designed Golf Course Opens for Play in Florida
Brad Faxon’s golf course at Jonathan’s Landing in Florida has opened for play.
The course, Old Trail Match, opened for play on Friday after several months of construction.
Faxon designed the course along with Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner.
“It has been absolutely incredible to work next to Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner and the team at Caveman Construction and everyone at Jonathan’s landing. Humbled to have been part of this project, what an awesome experience,” writes Faxon on Instagram.
Work on the course began back in February, as GolfNewsRI reported.
Faxon’s new course opens a little more than a year after the course he previously owned, Metacomet, closed.
