Saint Raphael Academy is seeking golf club donations for its revived golf team. 

The Saints Golf Team had two players last year, including rising star Nick Emery, and other students who want to play, but don’t have clubs. 

St. Rays writes the following message: 

Dear Golfers,

The Saints Golf Team has been revived! Last spring we had two golfers. There are other students who can play and some who want to learn, but they have no clubs. Chances are many of you have older clubs or bags, hanging around. would you consider donating them to the team at Saints?

They don’t need to be matching sets, just loose clubs — especially wedges, putters, and drivers. We can match them all up, and we need about 5 to 10 used bags. The drivers are most important because they can go to driving ranges and most are open year round. 

If we get too many clubs, they will likely be donated to The First Tee, an organization which provides access to golf to young people, regardless of income or family background.
