CVS Health Charity Classic Postponed for 2nd Straight Year
The CVS Health Charity Classic has been postponed for a second straight year, Billy Andrade confirmed to GolfNewsRI on Monday.
The tournament was postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic that saw everything shut down.
“The 2021 CVS Health Charity Classic will continue its mission through an online public auction and other virtual initiatives to engage in the Southern New England community. We hope to resume an in-person experience next year,” writes the CVS Classic in a statement.

Back in March, Andrade told the Golf Dudes that they were hopeful to have a tournament this year, but did not know yet.
The event normally takes place at the end of June at Rhode Island Country Club.
2020 Virtual Event
Despite there being no tournament last year, the CVS Classic virtual event raised $1.5 million, the largest sum in the history of the tournament.
Nearly $25 million has been donated to nonprofits over the past 23 years, providing vital funding to a range of programs serving local children and families.
