CVS Health Charity Classic Postponed

The CVS Health Charity Classic has been postponed due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus, the tournament announced on Tuesday night.
The event series, which began with the CRAVE RI food festival and then the Pepsi Pro-Am and Charity Classic, was originally scheduled to take place from June 18-22 at Rhode Island Country Club.
“The CVS Health Charity Classic is one of our community’s largest summer gatherings and our hope is to determine the best way to keep that sense of community while respecting current social distancing safety guidelines,” said the tournament in a statement.
According to the tournament, they will explore holding virtual and re-scheduled events.

About the CVS Health Charity Classic
Since its inception, the CVS Health Charity Classic has donated more than $23 million for Southern New England non-profit organizations that provide vital funding to a range of programs serving children and families.
Over the last several years, the CVS Health Charity Classic has shrunk from a three-day golf tournament (including the pro-am), to a one day tournament, while adding the CRAVE RI food festival and keeping the pro-am.
