The PGA Tour is warning players about language and actions ahead of The Players Championship, set to start Thursday.

The Tour sent out a text message to all competitors on Wednesday morning reminding them that every shot will be show live through PGA Tour LIVE.

“Every shot will be captured and transmitted live this week through PGA TOUR Live. Be mindful of what you say and do on the course,” read the message.

This message comes a couple of months after PGA Tour star Justin Thomas was caught on a hot mic using a homophobic slur after missing a putt.

Across the sports landscape, other incidents of players and coaches using poor language have risen in recent weeks.
