GolfNewsRI’s Cappalli Makes Debut Appearance on Coalition Talk Radio Thursday Night
GolfNewsRI co founder Rich Cappalli will make his debut appearance on Coalition Talk Radio Thursday night alongside host Pat Ford.
GolfNewsRI is a new digital media company, co-founded by Cappalli and Joe Calabro dedicated to covering local golf.
Calabro has been on the show the last two weeks.
This Thursday, Calabro will be on at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Hosted by Ford, Coalition Talk Radio has more than 2,300 followers on Facebook. The
Coalition shows do hundreds of views while LIVE, and then hundreds more in replays.
GolfNewsRI So Far
Through its first month, GolfNewsRI has done more than 8,400 page views and reached nearly 21,700 people on Facebook through sponsoring content and posts.
Within the month, GolfNewsRI’s story on the CVS Health Charity Classic was retweeted by LPGA and PGA pros Morgan Pressel and Billy Andrade.
Along with reporting big stories like the CVS Classic, and golf restriction updates, GolfNewsRI has also brought local golf course news to the forefront.
Stories such as a courses switching from raised cups to foam inserts and other courses aerating their greens proved to be some of the most important stories to RI golfers.
GolfNewsRI has had contributions from some of the top pros in the state, including Kirkbrae’s Mike Bradshaw, Kings Crossing’s Peter Walsh and Rick Holcomb.
The company seeks to add local golf pros to its roster of contributors in the coming days, weeks and months.
