I recently visited Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in North Carolina, also known as, the “Cradle of American Golf.” 

San Antonio is famous for the Alamo – and for golfers, is famous for TPC San Antonio, home of the Texas Valero Open. 

I played at the exclusive Venetian Golf Club of North Venice Florida mid-March.  The Venetian is about 15 minutes from my home in Nokomis, Florida.

Amy and I played Calusa Lake Golf and Country in mid-March. Calusa Lake is located in Nokomis, Florida.

For fellow history buffs, 1897 was the year that the 25th President of the United States, William McKinley, took office, the Klondike gold rush began, electrons were discovered, the first Boston Marathon was run, and the Boston subway opened – the first rapid transit in North America. 

I played Meadow Brook Golf Course in Richmond, RI during the first week of December.  

I played TPC Prestancia in mid-November. I had had the opportunity to play one of two courses 5-6 times and I really enjoy both layouts.

I played TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut in late May.  

I visited Hawaii for the first time in early May and it included two rounds of golf on the agenda.
