Max Jackson Takes 2nd, Colonna 22nd at Big 5 Championship
Former La Salle star Max Jackson closed his fall season with a second place finish at the Big 5 Championship on Thursday at Stonewall Links in Pennsylvania.
Jackson fired a two-over 72 in the 18-hole event to take second, three shots back of winner George Williamson Jr.
Temple had three other players finish inside the top ten for the tournament, while the Owls finished in second as a team.
The Owls posted a team score of 23-over par.
Saint Joseph’s wo the tournament at 17-over par.
Meanwhile, former Rhode Island Junior Amateur champ AJ Colonna was in the lineup for Villanova for the tournament.
He finished in a tie for 22 with a score of nine-over 79 for the day.
Villanova finished fourth out of five teams.
