Francoeur’s Korn Ferry Tour Run Ends at Leg 3 of Finals
Former URI star Chris Francoeur’s Korn Ferry Tour run came to an end on Sunday afternoon at the Compliance Solutions Championship.
Francoeur finished in a tie for 11th in the tournament, but it was not enough to secure a berth in next week’s Korn Ferry Tour Championship.
He started the week ranked 70th on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List and the T11 moves him to 63rd.
The top 60 advance to the KFT Championship and lock up full Korn Ferry Tour status for 2027.
Francoeur started the season with little to no status on the Korn Ferry Tour and ended up playing in just about every event other than the first couple.
He will have the opportunity to earn more KFT status or a PGA Tour Card during 2026 Q-School.
