Pivotal Weekend Looms for Former URI Star Chris Francoeur
A huge weekend is ahead for former URI star Chris Francoeur at leg three of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.
Through two rounds, Francoeur sits at 11-under par for the tournament and in a tie for sixth overall.
More importantly, he is projected to move from 70th on the KFT Points List to 60th.
Finishing inside the top 60 would get Francoeur into next week’s Korn Ferry Tour Championship and lock up full KFT status for 2027.
Francoeur will enter the weekend four shots back of leader Sandy Scott, who sits at 15-under for the tournament.
The former URI stgar tees off at 11:14 a.m. eastern time with Carson Young and Nick Gabrelcik.
