Brown Women Take 2nd at Sacred Heart Fall Classic
The Brown University Women’s golf team finished in second place at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic this week in Connecticut.
The Bears carded a team score of 72-over par to take solo second behind host school Sacred Heart and just ahead of third place Fairfield.
For Brown this is their second tournament back after the golf program was reinstated.
The Bears were led by Miya Wu, who finished in a tie for fourth place overall at 14-over for the tournament.
Varsa Ramachandran finished nine at 17-over and Angela Cal finished solo 14th at 21-over par.
PC & Bryant
Providence finished in fifth place in the tournament with a team score of 104-over par.
PC was led by Annabel Widdifield who finished solo 15, while Maddie Hyndman finished in a tie for 18th.
Former Barrington star Claire McTaggart earned the first top 20 finish of her collegiate career, finishing T20.
The Bryant women finished sixth in the tournament, just a few shots behind Providence.
Bryant was led by Miranda Prober, who earned a tie for 12 at 20-over par.
Jayden Loyacona and Sofia Pagan reached finished in a tie for 27.
