Mike Calef Advances to Match Play at U.S. Mid-Am
Former Rhode Island Amateur champion Mike Calef has advance dot the match play portion of the U.S. Mid-Amateur.
Calef fired rounds of 74 and 70 to finish at two-over and in a tie for 47th overall.
He made the cut by two shots.
Calef will take on Parker Edesn in the round of 64 on Monday morning, with a tee time scheduled for 11 a.m. on The Lido.
Five time Rhode Island Amateur champ Bobby Leopold finished the stroke play portion at five-over to miss the cut by a couple of shots.
He posted rounds of 75 and 72.
