PC Women Finish 5th, Bryant 7th at Warrior Invitational
The Providence College Women’s golf team finished in fifth place, while Bryant finished in seventh this week at the Warrior Invitational in Massachusetts.
It was the first tournament of the season for both programs.
Boston University won the tournament with a team score of 38-over par.
PC Breakdown
The Friars were led by freshman Maddie Hyndman, who finished in a tie for 13th in her college golf debut with rounds of 77, 80 and 75.
Fellow freshman Bailey Baio finished in solo 22nd in her collegiate golf debut with rounds of 77, 75 and a final round 85.
Myla Bisceglia finished win a tie for 27, Freshman Annabel Widdifield finished in 29 and former Barrington star Claire McTaggart finished in a tie for 37 in her collegiate golf debut.
PC returns to action on Monday, September 28 at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
Bryant Breakdown
Bryant was led by Sofia Pagan, who finished in a tie for 16th overall at 18-over par for the tournament.
Jayden Loyacona finished in a tie for 23 at 22-over par, while Cassidy Gallant and Florencia Cuellar finished T35 and T37 respectively.
Miranda Prober finished in a tie for 13th, but was playing as an individual.
Bryant returns to action on September 27 at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
