Northeast Am Stars Lead Team USA at 2026 Walker Cup
The 2026 Walker Cup is underway on Saturday morning at Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland.
The Walker Cup is a Ryder Cup – style tournament that pits the top amateurs from the U.S. against the top amateur from Great Britain & Ireland.
This year’s USA squad will be led by 2025 Northeast Amateur champion Preston Stout, 2026 Northeast Am champ and Wannamoisett course record holder Tyler Watts, and phenom star Miles Russell.
Other notables in the field include U.S. Amateur runner-up Jay Leno Jr., Oklahoma’s Ryder Cowan and superstar Mid-Am Stewart Hagestad.
Team USA enters the 2026 Walker Cup with a 40-9-1 record overall, including having won the last five meetings.
