Mulligan’s Island Sold
Mulligan’s Island in Cranston has been sold to Dallas-based golf developer, Golf Ranch, the company announced on Wednesday.
Golf Ranch operates at “growing network of technology-enabled driving ranges,” across the country including in Arizona, Connecticut, Missouri, and Texas.
“Since we opened in 2001, Mulligans Island has been where Rhode Islanders learned the game, celebrated birthdays, went on first dates and spent summer nights with their families. After twenty-six seasons, the property deserves an investment bigger than any one family can make. Golf Ranch is going to give this facility the reinvestment it has earned. I’m proud that what we built here is going to continue and get better,” said Michael Friedman, Managing Partner of Mulligans Island LLC.
According to the press release, the transaction is expected to close on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Terms of the deal have not yet been released.
Mulligan’s Island final day under the current ownership will be Sunday, September 20.
Renovation work will begin on Monday, September 21 with the grand opening set for spring 2027.
