RI Boys Take 14-Shot Lead into Final Round of New England Junior am
Lead by Rocco Capalbo, the Rhode Island boys will open the final round of the New Engalnd Junior Amateur with a 14-shot lead.
Rhode Island is three-under for the tournament, with Mass Golf in second place at 11-over par.
The final round will take place on Tuesday at Crumpin Fox, and is 18 holes.
Leading RI
Capalbo leads the individual tournament at three-under par after posing rounds of 71 and 70.
Fellow PC commit, and Mass Golf representative, Zac Georgantas is in second at one-under par.
Cranston West star Kailer Loungxay sits in third at even par, while Roland Gibson and Drew MacLeod are tied for sixth at one-over.
Ishaan Catone rounds out the scoring at two-over following the opening 36 holes.
Girls Division
The Rhode Island Girls are led by Emma Lockhart, who sits in a tie for 10th at 16-over par.
She had carded rounds of 81 and 79.
Maggie McDonald sits in solo 15th at 28-over par.
They are the only two RIers in the girls division, meaning the RI Girls will not register a team score.
