Rhode Islanders Competing at Mass Women’s Amateur
A contingent of Rhode Island ladies are set to tee it up in the Massachusetts Women’s Amateur this week at Oak Hill Country Club.
Rhode Island Women’s Am finalist Hanley Correia, RI Junior Am finalist Claire McTaggart and reigning RI Girls Junior Am champ Adriana Eaton, as well as, 2025 Rhode Island Women’s Am champion Kylie Eaton are all in the field.
“KYLIE EATON, 21, a Greenville, Rhode Island, resident and a New England Country Club member, won the Rhode Island Women’s Amateur Championship in 2025 and will aim to become the third person in history to win both state amateur titles: Glenna Collett (1921, both) and Noreen Uihlein (MA – 1973, 1980, 1981; RI – 1978). Her sister, Adriana Eaton, made the semifinals in this year’s Massachusetts Girls’ Junior Amateur,” writes Mass Golf in their preview.
The Mass Women’s Am begins with two rounds of stroke play on Monday and Tuesday followed by match play beginning on Wednesday.
The top 32 players advance to the bracket.
Correia gets things started at 7:41 a.m. followed by Adriana Eaton at 8:14 a.m.
Kylie Eaton and Claire McTaggart wrap up the local tee times at 9:31 a.m. and 11:43 a.m. respectively.
