Chatfield Closes PGA Tour Regular Season with Top 25 Finish
Former Rhode Island Amateur champion Davis Chatfield wrapped up his PGA Tour regular season with a top 25 finish at the Wyndham Championship.
Chatfield fired a final round 65 to climb 33 spots up the leaderboard and into a tie for 25th overall.
For the week, he posted rounds of 69, 68, 69 and the final round 65.
This is the second top 25 finish of Chatfield’s rookie season, the other finish being a top ten.
Chatfield is projected to jump from 138th on the FedEx Cup Points list to 130.
He will now head into the fall season looking to retain his PGA Tour Card.
The PGA Tour’s fall season begins in September.
