Francoeur, Welch Set for KFT’s Utah Championship
Former URI star Chris Francoeur and Classical grad Patrick Welch are in action at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Utah Championship this week.
Welch earned a top 20 finish in his return to the Korn Ferry Tour last week at the Evans Scholars Invitational.
It was his first tournament in several months due to a hand injury.
Welch tees off at 3:10 p.m. on Thursday alongside Allistair Docherty and David Boucher.
Francoeur is coming off a solo 33rd finish last week after doubling the 18th hole to drop two shots.
This is his eighth straight start on the Korn Ferry Tour after starting the season with conditional status.
Francoeur tees off at 4:10 p.m. with Travis Trace and Andrew Kozan.
