Max Jackson Finishes 2nd at Wampanoag Classic

Cumberland’s Max Jackson finished in a tie for second at the Wampanoag Classic on Tuesday in West Hartford, Connecticut. 

The tournament is part of the U.S. Challenge Cup circuit. 

Jackson carded rounds of 70 and 74 over two days to finish at even par for the tournament and in a tie for second with Matt Downes. 

The former La Salle star was tied for the lead after the first round, before carding a two-over 74 in round two to finish one shot back. 

Julian Ragosa won the event at one-under par. 

Bryant star Chad Correia finished in solo fourth at one-over par.
