Dawson Jones Wins Q-School Contest on Minor League Golf Tour
University of Rhode Island alum Dawson Jones won Qualifying School Contest #4 on Thursday on the Minor League Golf Tour.
Jones earns a $5k bonus to put towards paying for a Q-School entry of his choice in the coming weeks and months.
In the tournament, Jones fired rounds of 65 and 66 to win by four shots over Andrew Riley.
Jones was 13-under for the tournament.
Fellow URI alum Bryson Richards finished in a tie for 5 at five-under par for two rounds.
