Kylie Eaton Takes Medalist Honors at RI Women’s Am
Defending champion Kylie Eaton took medalist honors during the stroke play portion of the Rhode Island Women’s Amateur on Monday at Agawam Hunt.
The tournament has “rebranded” as the Julie Greene Women’s Amateur, in honor of Greene, who won the Women’s Amateur 11 times during her career.
On Monday, Eaton carded a five-over 76 to take medalist honors by one shot over Olivia Williams and Morgan MacLeod.
The Illinois transfer/ Butler commit will be the number one overall seed when Match Play begins on Tuesday morning.
Overall, 16 players made the match play bracket with the cut coming at 16-over par.
