Leopold Leads RI Amateur After Day 1 of Stroke Play
Bobby Leopold fired a four-under 67 to lead the 2026 Rhode Island Amateur by two shots after the first round of stroke play at Ledgemont.
Leopold is seeking his sixth RI Amateur title, which would tie him for the most all-time with Daniel Fairchild.
Jake Bauer and Max Jackson each sit in a tie for second place at two-under.
Following Tuesday’s round, the top 32 players will advance to match play starting on Wednesday.
As of Monday night, the cut is three-over par.
