Met Links Kicks Off Club9 Tour with The Derby

Met Links in East Providence is set to host a 45-hole marathon championship called The Derby.
The Derby kicks off the inaugural Club9 season, and will take place on July 12 with a shotgun start at 6:30 a.m.
“The Derby is golf the way we love it – competitive, social, and built around great moments that last all day. We designed this event to reward endurance, skill and the joy of sharing a full day on the course with fellow Club9ers,” said Rob McNeil, President and Principal Architect of The Northeast Golf Company and Founder of Club9.
The cost is $225 per player.
Entry fee includes 45 guaranteed holes, cart, meals, and beverages throughout the day, a swag bag, on course contests and cash prizes for the top finishers.
Derby Format
During the Derby, players will battle across 45 holes, playing their own ball with gross and net divisions.
Champions will be crowned at the end of the day.
There will also be awards presented for the low 9 after each nine-hole segment.
