Luke Stennett Wins Amateur Invitational
Former URI star Luke Stennett took home the trophy at the Amateur Invitational on Thursday at New England Country Club.
Stennett carded rounds of 71 and 66 to finish at five-under par and win by three shots.
As GolfNewsRI reported, Stennett is off to Memphis in the fall to continue his collegiate career after spending his first two seasons at URI.
The Amateur Invitational is part of the U.S. Challenge Cup circuit.
