RI Author Publishes Golf-Based Children’s Book
Rhode Island author Francesca Cinque, formerly Morrell, published her first golf-based children’s book.
The book is titled “Griffy, The Golf Loving Gopher,” and is available for purchase on Amazon.
Griffy is based in-part off Cinque’s daughter Samantha Morrell’s journey from junior golf to now being a teaching professional.
Morrell was a teaching pro at Warwick Country Club for a short period of time and now works at Fenway golf Club in New York.
As a junior, Morrell won three-straight High School State Championships from 2007-2009.
Throughout the book, Griffy shares messages of perseverance, confidence and chasing your dreams even when others doubt you.
