Francoeur Birdies Last Hole to Secure Made Cut at BMW Pro-AM
Former URI star Chris Francoeur rolled in a 50-footer for birdie on the final hole to secure a made cut at the Korn Ferry Tour’s BMW Charity Pro-Am on Friday.
Francoeur is three-under for the tournament and in a tie for 32nd overall.
The cut ended up being two-under par and so he had some wiggle room.
However, without that birdie on the final hole, things certainly would have been a bit more interesting.
The former Rhody Ram has posted rounds of 70 and 68 to this point in the tournament.
Heading into the weekend, there is currently a three-way tie for the lead at eight-under par.
