Bob Harig Laid Off as Sports Illustrated Slashes Golf Coverage

Longtime golf writer Bob Harig was among those laid off by Sports Illustrated last week as the publication appears to be slashing its golf coverage.

Along with Harig, golf editors Jeff Ritter and John Schwarb were also laid off, according to Front Office Sports.

“Being one of the subjects of a story is admittedly uneasy. Thanks to those who have reached out here and elsewhere. It is much appreciated. More to come,” wrote Harig on social media.
