Francoeur Earns Top 30 Finish at KFT’s Visit Knoxville Open
Former URI star Chris Francoeur earned a top 30 finish at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Visit Knoxville Open this weekend in Tennessee.
Francoeur finished at 15-under par for the tournament and in a tie for 29th overall.
He posted rounds of 67, 68, 66 and a final round 68, which moved him three spots up the leaderboard.
The T29 finish jumps Francoeur from 147th to 135th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list.
The tournament was won by Doc Redman in a playoff over Hunter Eichhorn.
Francoeur is back on the Korn Ferry Tour next week at the UNC Health Championship in North Carolina.
