Peter Uihlein Qualifies for U.S. Open
Former Northeast Amateur champion Peter Uihlein is headed to the U.S. Open.
Uihlein fired a nine-under 133( 2 rounds) to take medalist honors at the Dallas Athletic Club on Monday.
He opened with a first round 67 and followed up with a second round 66.
The cut was three-under par.
Other notable players to make it include Northeast Am alum Caleb Surratt, former major champion Graeme McDowell, and Tom Kim.
