Inside Links Acquires Capital Golf Studio
Inside Links in Cumberland has purchased Capital Golf Studio, the two companies announced.
Previous Capital Golf owners Joe and Vivian Leahy are set to retire after more than 25-years in business.
“It has been an absolute privilege to work with so many PGA Professionals, ranked amateurs, and up and coming young players here in the Northeast. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the trust you have placed in us; the lifelong friendships formed have truly been the highlight of this journey,” said the Leahy’s in a statement.
The studio will move to Inside Links, located at 132 Mendon Road in Cumberland.
“We have long sought to augment the indoor golf simulator experience with essential golf services, such as re-gripping, repairing, and modifying clubs to players’ specifications. Capital Golf Studio and Joe Leahy has a strong reputation for quality and is well known throughout the regional golf community. By bringing their operations into our Cumberland home, we are creating a powerhouse for Rhode Island golfers to hone their craft regardless of the New England weather and to improve their equipment in an environment that allows them to immediately assess the changes we make to their clubs,” said Inside Links owner Mario Lemme.
Inside Links currently consists of five simulators and multiple leagues throughout the year.
