GolfNewsRI Welcomes Virtual Tee as Advertiser

GolfNewsRI is excited to welcome Virtual Tee as a new advertiser to the website.

Virtual Tee offers custom residential and commercial golf simulator installations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and across the country.

“Thankful to have the support of a national company such as Virtual Tee.  Over the last few years, GolfNewsRI has documented the growth of indoor golf in the state and across the country. It only makes sense to partner with one of the major companies that builds these simulators and the tech that goes with it,” said GolfNewsRI CEO Joe Calabro.

Virtual Tee is run by partners Tony Pimentel and Andy Roach.

Pimentel joined the Virtual Tee team relatively recently after working in various aspects of the golf industry.

“We’ve spent the last year and a half collaborating, referring business back and forth, and getting to know how each other operates. At a certain point, it just made sense to make it official and partner up in the golf simulator space,” said Pimentel in a statement.

“The company’s rapid growth created the need to establish a dedicated sales team to support increasing demand and sustain continued expansion. Tony was the clear choice, bringing extensive knowledge of the space and a long, proven history in the golf industry. His experience and deep industry relationships make him an ideal fit to lead sales efforts, support continued expansion, and help the company build on its strong momentum,” said Roach

Virtual Tee has done projects everywhere from Boston to Florida to Texas to Colorado and Utah, plus many more.

“I think what we’re seeing—especially here in the Northeast—is just how much the indoor golf space has grown. Between the winters and how unpredictable the weather can be, people want a way to play and practice consistently. Having your own setup just makes it easy—you can jump in whenever you have time, you’re not fighting for tee times, and you’re getting real feedback on your game. It’s become less of a novelty and more of a go-to for staying sharp year-round.  It’s now a core part of how people experience the game,” added Pimentel.

Virtual Tee is locally based, so for installations, repairs and other work, the company’s service is faster and more convenient.

The company has installed simulators in everywhere from homes, to basements, to garages and sheds.
